New Stores Opening in New York – Bleecker Street, Los Angeles – Beverly Center and Las Vegas – Crystals at City Center
London, 7 July 2011–British luxury brand Jimmy Choo expands its retail presence in the United States with three new stores opening this August: New York City – Bleecker Street, Los Angeles – Beverly Center and Las Vegas – Crystals at City Center. In addition, the brand’s first US store, located at the Olympic Tower on 51st Street and 5th Avenue in New York, will undergo a complete renovation and reopen in early September. These three markets – New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas – were the first markets where Jimmy Choo established its US retail presence more than 10 years ago and also are the top three performing American markets for the brand.
The stores will offer a complete range of Jimmy Choo women’s shoes, handbags, small leather goods, soft accessories, belts, sunglasses and fragrance. The assortments will be tailored to the individual locations with an emphasis on the most fashion forward elements in the collections. Each store will have a special section dedicated to the Choo 24:7 collection, the ‘Perfect Shoe and Handbag Wardrobe’.
New York, 407 Bleecker Street
Located on Bleecker Street in the West Village, the 1500 square foot store will be set in a landmarked townhouse. This will be the brand’s third location in Manhattan, adding to the original US stores on Fifth Avenue at 51st Street and Madison Avenue.
Los Angeles, Beverly Center
The Beverly Center will house a 1000 square foot store in the retail center’s expanding luxury wing. This is the brand’s fourth location in the Los Angeles area, adding to a presence in Beverly Hills on North Rodeo Drive, South Coast Plaza and Westfield Topanga.
Las Vegas, Crystals at City Center
The luxurious retail pavilion of Crystals at CityCenter will house a 1200 square foot store. This is the third location for Jimmy Choo in Las Vegas, adding to locations in the Forum Shops at Caesars and the Shoppes at the Palazzo.
The store interiors in all three locations reflect the global design store concept, echoing the sensibility of the Jimmy Choo brand, and evoking the architectural glamour of a 1940s boutique. The neutral beige interior colour scheme is a harmony of ivory, pale rose, lilac and sand, in keeping with the brand’s signature colours. Decorative elements of the interior include lush tufted seating, mirrored tables, crystal drop chandeliers and niches upholstered in reflective finishes.
